The post-holder is expected to use their technical knowledge to deliver structural engineering services for a wide range of projects including refurbishments and new construction primarily in the domestic, educational and industrial sectors. The post-holder will be given responsibility to manage all aspects of their projects and will be the first point of contact with clients, architects and builders for their projects. They will undertake site visits several times a month and will also be capable of undertaking structural inspections of defective structures. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the existing team, to exchange ideas, resolve challenges and check other’s projects. There will be the opportunity to be creative in the use of the main structural materials to deliver first-class engineering solutions. Modulus offers a great opportunity for new graduates to develop their engineering skills. The successful candidate will quickly be in a position to take on responsibility for their own projects, which will range from small domestic extensions through to larger framed structures for non-domestic projects. The post-holder will assist the Technical Director and provide administrative support for the company. They will be one of the initial points of contact for private clients and business contacts. We have an established base in Basingstoke, Hampshire and a satellite office in Egham, south-west London from which we provide structural engineering services for a large number of small projects, working mainly with local architects, builders and home-owners.
