Owen Brooker BEng CEng MICE MIStructE MCS is a chartered Civil and Structural Engineer and has a wide range of experience in the design of large and small buildings using reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, timber, masonry, aluminium and glass.
His previous experience includes the structural design of prestigious London offices, swimming pools, arts & leisure buildings, educational buildings and domestic extensions, including basements in central London.
Owen is also able to provide training courses on a wide variety of topics and has delivered training throughout the UK, and worldwide.

Chair of Technical Publications Panel of the Institution of Structural Engineers
Member of Engineering Leadership Group and also Council of the Institution of Structural Engineers
Member of the Management Committee of the UK National Group of the International Federation for Structural Concrete
What's the most interesting project you've worked on?
"The engineering on a vineyard store that was to be cut into a chalk down hillside.
It had really interesting engineering aspects and it felt good to help the client realise his vision."
Hobbies & Interests
"I enjoy following F1 motor racing, or any motor sports/supercar racing. If it’s not four wheels then two legs will do; as I run half marathons, though usually across muddy fields rather than roads!"
Owen is a marking examiner for the IStructE Chartered Membership Exam.
